Dairy Queen is the pioneer of soft-serve ice cream in the US with branches all over the world. Although you might not be able to enjoy the soft-serve because of the high carb count, you'll be relieved to know that there are at least a couple of other options you can enjoy if you're trying to eat keto at Dairy Queen.
After thoroughly analyzing their nutrition information, we found that there are as many as 12 keto options at Dairy Queen with less than 20g of carbs for you to choose from. As we mentioned, all of the Ice Cream products are too high in carbs for a keto diet. Even the smallest, most basic option (Kids Chocolate Cone) contains over 25g of carbs.
However, eating keto at Dairy Queen is still possible if you order off the food menu. The Chicken BLT salad contains only 9g of net carbs which makes it an obvious choice for a low carb diet. There is also a smaller Side Salad wihch can be paired with one of five low carb keto-friendly dressings.
Surprisingly, there are also a handful of breakfast options available on the Dairy Queen Keto Menu. Low carb dieters can choose from a la carte Sausage, Bacon or Ham and pair it with 2 eggs for a very low carb meal. Depending on your current carb allowance you may even be able to enjoy one of their biscuit sandwiches which have 17g of net carbs.
