Whataburger Vegetarian Menu

Whataburger is a casual fast-food restaurant chain that specializes, probably unsurprisingly, in burgers. It’s predominantly based in Texas, but there are also restaurants in other states in the South — Florida, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and more. Whataburger also sells breakfast options and salads. But can you find vegetarian food at Whataburger?

After analyzing their online menu and nutrition information, we found that there are 16 vegetarian options at Whataburger, plus a few potential extras if your server is happy to make swap-outs and substitutions for you.

At breakfast time, you can enjoy a hash brown taquito with cheese, or an egg and cheese biscuit. Alternatively, go sweet with a cinnamon roll. Later in the day, you could order a grilled cheese from the kids’ menu, or fill up on sides: French fries, onion rings, and apple slices are all vegetarian items at Whataburger. You could also order a salad without chicken — ask for an apple and cranberry salad or a garden salad, and enjoy with your choice of dressing.

It may also be possible to make your own veggie burger by ordering a regular burger of your choice and swapping out the meat patty for hash browns. Ask your server to see what they can do for you.
