IHOP is loved by people all over the world for its delicious breakfast food. Since it’s a pancake house, it should come as no surprise that pancakes are one of the most popular items on the menu. Vegetarians will already be aware that it can be difficult to find vegetarian-friendly breakfast food, but is this also the case at IHOP?
We analyzed the online nutrition and allergen information and found that there are 20 vegetarian items at IHOP, as well as a few extra menu options that can be made vegetarian with swap-outs or omissions. The good news is that almost all the pancakes at IHOP are suitable for vegetarians, so you can enjoy these without worry (as long as you avoid the Pancake Combo, which comes with sausage and bacon).
Other good vegetarian options at IHOP include the Belgian Waffle and Original French Toast, or you can go for a savory meal and order a Spinach and Mushroom Omelette. All the burgers, sandwiches, and entrees at IHOP contain meat, and the only salad on the menu contains chicken, so vegetarians will have to find something else to eat instead. Luckily, all the breakfast items are available all day, so it is easy enough to find satisfying vegetarian food at IHOP.
